So you are thinking of doing a PCI team? Come to Faughanvale!

This is the fourth year that a team has been sent to Faughanvale and we arrive with one goal in mind - to share the good news of Jesus with those we come into contact with. So if you have a passion for doing that - get your form in!

During the course of the week we seek to tell others about Jesus in different ways. We run a holiday bible club for children in the mornings with stories, drama, praise, crafts and games and in the past we have looked at the stories of Joseph, Paul and Peter. These are always encouraging as the numbers grow daily and the children, from all sections of the community, love to come.

After lunch, which is provided by the church and is always very good, we have some team time. We have bible study, prayer and quiet times and these have always been very encouraging and we learn a lot as God speaks to us through his word.

In the evenings we run events for the teenagers in the church – games nights, talent shows, treasure hunts and move nights have all taken place in previous years and we look forward to hearing you ideas for this year!

Later on at night we take the opportunity to go down into the village and bring the Gospel of Jesus to those who rarely come near the church grounds. Many young people hang out each night in Eglinton and we bring them tea, coffee and sweets and speak to them about their need for Christ in their lives.
