Monday 4^th July

Give thanks:

- For the opportunity to go into local primary schools and Newry High School to promote the team to children and young people.

- For the opportunity to share the Word of God with the next generation.

- For the volunteers who will come each day to Club this week to work alongside the team.

Pray:

- That many children and young people will come with ready hearts to hear the Word of God.

- That the team would be enthusiastic and passionate in what they teach.

- That relationships with children and young people would be built.

- For the table quiz tonight for the teenagers and members of the congregations.

 

Tuesday 5^th July

Give thanks:

- For the power of the Word of God to change people’s lives.

- For the opportunity to have a coffee morning during Club this morning.

- For those who have volunteered to cater for the team this week.

- For those who have been involved in the practical preparations before the team arrived.

Pray:

- That many parents would attend the coffee morning and that there would be opportunities to share the Word of God with them.

- That the children and teenagers would be attentive to what is being taught.

- For the teenagers who will come along to the team Bible Study this afternoon.

 

Wednesday 6^th July

Give thanks:

- For the fellowship the team will share in this week.

- For the relationships that have been built up over previous years.

- For how we have seen God at work in Newry in previous years and how we continue to see Him work today.

- For the opportunity to have a Prayer Room set up for the teenagers to use.

Pray:

- That the team will be strengthened and encouraged in their own faith this week.

- For the discussions that the team will have with the teenagers this evening.

- That the Prayer Room would stir the hearts of the teenagers as they connect with God.

- For the salvation of children and young people this week.

- For the safety and protection of the team, children and young people this week.

 

Thursday 7^th July

Give thanks:

- For everything the team have been able to do so far this week.

- For the opportunity to invite the teenagers along to the team Bible Study today.

- For the ongoing ministry of Rev. Michael Barry (Sandys St.) and Rev. Brian Colvin (Downshire Rd.).

Pray:

- For the coffee morning during Club this morning and the opportunity to build relationships with the churches.

- For the strength and energy as tiredness sets in, and that Satan would not hinder our work.

- That the team will share the Good News with clarity and urgency.

- That the Christian children and young people will be strengthened in their faith this week.

 

Friday 8^th July

Give thanks:

- For those who minister to the children and young people throughout the year – through Sunday School, Christian Endeavour and the Youth Club.

- That God is able to do so much more than we can ask or imagine this week.

Pray:

- For the final night with the teenagers and that they would remember what they have heard this week.

- That God would continue to work in the lives of the teenagers and that they would draw close to Him.

- The question and answer time with the teenagers tonight – that God would provide wisdom to those answering and that God would be working in the lives of the teens.

 

Saturday 9^th July

Give thanks:

- For the opportunity the team will have to rest today.

- For the all the children and young people that have attended this week.

Pray:

- For our final morning of ‘Mission Rescue’ – that the children would enjoy it and remember what they have learnt about how Jesus has rescued them.

- That the team would enjoy an afternoon and evening of fun, friendship and fellowship together.

 

Sunday 10^th July

Give thanks:

- For what God has accomplished this week in Newry.

- For the many people involved with the team this week.

- For the people of Newry who have been challenged and encouraged this week.

Pray:

- For those that will attend the Family Service this morning and for those taking part.

- That God would continue to work in Newry and in the lives of each team member.

- For safety as the team members travel home.
